TBBCT Taxi Voucher Program

TBBCT can issue taxi vouchers to eligible clients, who are over the age of 65.  These vouchers can be used for travel by taxi within Tweed, Byron and Ballina shires for purposes such as:

• to visit a loved one who is in hospital, a nursing home or housebound
• to attend support groups
• to visit a cemetery or crematorium
• to attend a funeral
• community events
• social and recreational activities
• appointments where TBBCT cannot assist you with a car and driver.

Each voucher is worth $5.00 and multiple vouchers can be used for one trip.
