Tweed Byron and Ballina Community Transport (TBBCT) provides a range of transport services to people who live in the Tweed, Byron, and Ballina shires on the far north coast of NSW.
We are a not-for-profit, public benevolent institution, governed by a community management committee and funded to assist older people, people with a disability, their carers and others who have difficulty accessing public transport, or are disadvantaged by the lack of transport options in their area.
We provide group transport in buses for shopping and social activities, as well as individual transport for medical and other appointments. These services are designed to support our clients’ independence and wellbeing.
We also support community groups with affordable bus trips and vehicle hire and are recognised by Department of Veterans’ Affairs as a transport provider to gold card holders.
We have deductible gift recipient (DGR) status and donations over $2 are tax deductible. If you would like to make a donation to support our transport provision, you can do so through Give Now, a secure, commission free, online donation service. Visit our page www.givenow.com.au/tbbct. Alternatively, please contact TBBCT’s financial administrator Sue Ruhl. Should you wish to discuss potential sponsorship opportunities contact CEO Phil Barron. Both may be reached on 1300 875 895.
Tweed Byron and Ballina Community Transport acknowledges the people of the Bundjalung nation, the traditional custodians of the land we live and work on, and pay our respects to elders past and present.
